Wind is the movement of air, caused by the uneven heating of the Earth by the sun and the Earth's own rotation. Wind power is a clean and renewable energy source. But a strong wind can pose hazards to wind generation, ports, vessels, and meteorological and transportation industries. Thus, a device that can monitor wind data accurately and timely is vital to avoid threats.NANHUA is pleased to announce the release of the innovative ultrasonic anemometer FAR3 specifically for hazardous area applications.
Working principle of the ultrasonic anemometer: within a certain distance, there is a difference between the time required for sound waves to propagate downwind and upwind. The air velocity can be obtained by measuring this time difference, that is, the air velocity measurement can be realized by measuring this time difference.
