According to the relevant standards from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the aviation obstruction lights for transmission towers should be clearly visible from all directions. The light configuration should be designed reasonably based on the tower's height, shape, and surrounding environment to avoid any potential aerial risks. The design and arrangement of aviation obstruction lights must follow scientific principles to ensure that aircraft can detect and respond in time when approaching.
Reference Standards:
《Annex14 Volume 1 Aerodrome Design and Operations》、《AC 150/5345-43H Specification for Obstruction Lighting Equipment》、《MH/T6012-2015》、《MH5001-2013》
The installation height (H) of the transmission tower can refer to the following settings:
H ≤ 30m: Install one low-intensity aviation obstruction light at the top of the tower.
30m < H ≤ 45m: Install one low-intensity dual aviation obstruction light at the top of the tower.
45m < H ≤ 90m: Install one medium-intensity aviation obstruction light at the top, and place one low-intensity aviation obstruction light at 1/2 of its height.
90m < H ≤ 150m: Install one medium-intensity A-type aviation obstruction light at the top, and place low-intensity or medium-intensity aviation obstruction lights at 2/3 and 1/3 of its height.
H ≥ 150m: Install high-intensity aviation obstruction lights at the top and at intervals of 75-105 meters. Medium-intensity aviation obstruction lights should be placed between the layers of high-intensity lights.
